This book was born deep in winter during one of the infamous Michigan "fake spring" days. Seriously, it will go from 25 degrees with 2 inches of snow on a Tuesday and by Thursday it's 55 with sunshine only to have 34 degrees with sleet on Friday. Talk about weather whiplash!

I was desperate for pretty flowers and cute farm critters, but it just wasn't time yet - so Flowers & Farm Friends (formerly Spring on the Farm) was created!
There are tractors, piggies, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, old trucks, barns, fields and so so many flowers!
I wanted whimsical images that were still realistic looking and interesting enough to keep an adults attention, but not so overly complicated a child couldn't color them too!
